Newton Basic – Identical to the professional license except for a few limitations: The Basic version limits the cluster count to 150,000 and only one material generation point is available. However, imported geometries can still be given custom movement profiles to solve a wide range of engineering problems. Impact and abrasion wear is not available in the basic version.

Newton Chute – Developed for users focused on transfer chute design. It is an extremely powerful, yet easy to use version of the software. It goes hand and hand with AC-Tek’s Sidewinder conveyor design software. Newton Chute is identical to the professional version and gives all the same performance and features. This includes impact and abrasive wear data recording: Newton Chute limits the cluster count to 350,000 (and up to one million spheres) with a single material generation point. This is typically more than adequate to simulate even the most difficult transfer chute designs. All surface velocities and movement profiles are specified using the built in conveyor geometries.
